Every major version release (V2, V3, and onward) is included in your purchase. When we ship V2 (scene version history, local LLM support, writing statistics, and more), you'll receive it as a free update. This applies to every license holder, at every price point, for the life of the product.
When does the early adopter price end? +
When V2 ships, the $79 founding price closes. New buyers will pay the V2 price and will also receive all future major versions included in that purchase. The only difference is the entry price. Buy now to pay the least.
Can I use it on multiple devices? +
Yes. One license covers 3 devices simultaneously, across any combination of Windows, Mac, and iPad. Deactivate any device at any time from within the app to free up a slot. No cap on reassignments.
What happens if I buy now but Mac isn't out yet? +
The Windows app is available now. Mac and iPad are in development and will be included in your license at no additional cost when they launch. Early adopters are covered on all platforms.
Do I need to pay for the AI features? +
The AI features themselves are included. You bring your own API keys for Claude (Anthropic), GPT (OpenAI), Grok (xAI), Gemini (Google), Mistral, DeepSeek, or MiMo (Xiaomi), and you pay those providers directly at their published rates. GrimoireScribe takes no cut and has no markup. MiMo additionally offers a flat-rate token subscription if you prefer that to pay-as-you-go. The AI features are also entirely optional.
What payment methods do you accept? +
Payment is processed by Paddle, who handles cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, and local payment methods in many regions. Paddle acts as the merchant of record and handles VAT/tax collection globally.
